SMPS+C capability optimized for the use as PSMPS

The GRIMM 5417 is the high-end CPC with full SMPS+C capability that is optimized for the use as PSMPS. It has an integrated DMA voltage controller and features two switchable sample inlet flows of 0.3 and 0.6 L/min and two sheath air flows of 3 or 10 L/min respectively. All flows are controlled by temperature stabilized critical orifices.

The 5417 enables single particle counting up to 150 000 p/cm3 with improved detection efficiency (D50 = 4nm) and response time (t10-t90 < 3 s). The photometric mode allows for the detection of high concentrations up to 107 p/cm3.

As all GRIMM CPC models, the 5417 features the well-established condensate removal and anti-spill saturator design with an integrated saturator shutter, enabling the transport of the CPC without removing or drying the saturator.
