For over a decade the GRIMM EDM 180 is the leading Automated Measuring System (AMS) for measuring particulate matter concentration (PM10, PM2.5) in ambient air. While the accuracy and long-term stability of our approved monitor is still unmatched, the call for modern interfaces became louder. The result is a like a facelift version of the EDM180: we kept the inner values of the measurement cell and the algorithm and upgraded it with new interfaces, such as USB for data storage and Ethernet for data transmission.
The data quality is still the same.

This system offers outstanding features such as simultaneous PM measurements in 31 particle size channels, 0.1 μg/m3 resolution, and an isothermal inlet with an integrated Nafion dryer.
The EDM 180+ runs silent, requires low maintenance and can be validated on site using the field test kit together with our system diagnosis software. The EDM 180+ is the optimal solution for reliable environmental monitoring, e. g. automated PM measurements in environmental networks, epidemiological studies, urban and rural PM monitoring.
