COVID-19: Statement on the current situation

Unrestricted supply availability despite precautions

Dear customers, suppliers and business partners,

The COVID-19 pandemic is currently affecting all our lives.
Despite the current restrictions and difficult general conditions, the entire DURAG GROUP continues to be reliably available for you in all areas. An internal pandemic plan ensures the continuation of business operations in case of an infection within the organisation. Furthermore, we have taken various measures to provide all our customers with the usual quality of service within the given possibilities and under the aspect of safety of our employees.

  • Supply availability
    Our purchasing department is in close contact with our sub-suppliers in order to identify delivery delays at an early stage. We also keep critical components in stock to ensure our ability to deliver. Should delays occur, we will inform them in good time.
    Currently there are no delayed delivery dates.
  • Service and Support:
    We will continue to be available for telephone consultations as usual during normal business hours. Currently we can guarantee the supply of spare parts.
  • Commissioning and repairs:
    If particularly important operations on site and in the direct vicinity of the plants cannot be performed by our local partners or via remote control, we will always check the fastest possible implementation in accordance with the legal requirements and in consideration of the health risks. In doing so, we rely on your trust that we always keep both in mind - the continued operation of your processes and the health of our and your personnel.
  • Field service
    For the protection of our customers, partners and employees, we refrain from field service activities or customer appointments of our sales department. Of course, our employees can still be contacted by e-mail or telephone using their usual contact details. We also offer web meetings as an alternative to personal conversations. You are welcome to make use of them.
  • Personal visits:
    Although internal operations will be maintained at all our locations, public traffic in our premises and branches will be kept to a minimum until further notice. As a rule, meetings and discussions with external contacts are held by telephone or video conference.

With the measures listed above, we are confident that ongoing business operations will be impaired, but will continue without interruption for the duration of the restrictions.
